add space off-site modular buildings

+ add space

Off-site modular buildings offer a fast alternative solution to traditional construction methods, based on factory installed elements. This method of building is widely used for fast delivery of additional space to a wide range of buildings, such as school class rooms, hospital wards, hotel accommodation, additional rooftop floors on city centre buildings, community halls, leisure facilities, holiday homes, healthcare clinics, offices, etc.

Sipframe modular systems

Sipframe modular systems are based on lightweight, strong and energy efficient Structural Insulated Panel systems - SIPs. Completed factory built modules are transported to site and erected on pre-prepared foundations. Buildings are complete with bathroom and kitchen ‘pods’, service stacks, plumbing, electrics, lighting, computer circuitry and other elements stipulated by the client. Matching existing facades is not a problem as external finishes can include brick slips, concrete render, timber cladding, aluminum and zinc panels, marble, hanging tiles, etc.

Using Sipframe modular systems can cut your project build time by as much as 75%, ensuring early occupation, on budget and with much shorter financing costs. Sipframe modular buildings will have a minimum life expectancy of 60 years

Adding an extra storey to your building

Many commercial buildings/offices, particularly in high cost city centre locations just do not have space to expand outwards, often, the only way is up. Modular SIP solutions are ideal for this situation as they offer a lightweight building that can be dropped onto the top of an existing building without major structural adjustment and with all internal fittings already installed. This solution offers a fast solution with the minimum of disruption.

Design

We will help shape your ideas to ensure that you take full advantage of what offsite Modular construction can offer. Whatever your requirement, we’re confident we can provide a practical and cost-effective option through our offsite manufacturing services. We have design teams to help formulate your ideas or we can work closely with your architect to ensure delivery of your project fast and to the highest standard of construction.

Off-site construction

Off-site construction gives consistently higher quality and enables the workforce to operate in carefully controlled conditions. Obvious advantages include higher quality control, health & safety, handling and storage of materials, reduced waste and much greater speed from start to finish of a project, with the economic benefits that flow from that.
